The BIG Christmas Tree has arrived in our store in M’Burg, and we are still on our tippe toes stringing the lights. We have presents and gifts for your special need in both our stores and loads of good buys. We are known for our great prices and good quality of items and antiques. We have
a beautiful collection of 1940-50′s FIESTAWARE adorning our back counter breakfront. And, a handsome carved mahogony china cabinet at least a century old that graces our entrance. All this and more in store for you.

A perfect Thanksgiving close to home in rolling hills of Holmes County with Family! We woke this morning in a cottage in Charm, Ohio with our three precious Grandsons and Daughter and Son-in-law. We all made a friend we will never forget, a handsome Black Lab, Tango, who oversees his retreat and greets his Guest as they arrive. We arrived with Bob Evans carrying him into our cottage and Tango never left our porch! But, this guy is very special to so many Guests. He bounces over the lawn on three legs caring this big body. He is an inspiration just to see him go. As I have always said, Never, never give up. . . . . On anyone or anything in your life. Have a blessed Thanksgiving. Jane and Doug

Shaker House Antiques shared the Heart of Amish Country with the visitors to the Historic Millersburg Antique Festival October 8-9th, 2011. The two Fall full- packed days in living color were gorgeous. Across the street the Millersburg Court House lawn was loaded with creative vendors. Two days of old fashioned fun and looking and hunting for antique treasures in Millersburg Amish Countrÿ were a delight for all attendees. Doug and I are now running back and forth on Rt. 83 South setting up our second location in Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton. We see Fall moving in on us as the leaves are already whirling and turning some brilliant colors. Today, on my drive South I was lost in thoughts of Fall and upcoming Festivals soon to come. Millersburg Antique Festival on October 8th and 9th and Roscoe Village, Apple Butter Stirrin’, October 13th, 14th and 15th. Hope to see you in the Village. Today was the summer Antiques in the Alley event held in Historic Downtown Millersburg, Ohio. It was an excellent day for treasure hunting (apart from rain in the late afternoon). Millersburg Ohio is a great place to visit if your looking for antiques. There are quite a few antique stores stocked with an abundant variety of antiques from area merchants and also a good variety of other stores and collectible shops.
